Many modular kitchen cabinets will come with instructions somewhat like what you would find when putting together a bookcase. It is better to leave the doors off of the cabinets during this part of assembling. The cabinets should be put together evenly and securely as possible. If you can, you should install the upper cabinets first. This way you will not have to work over the lower cabinets. A stud finder will come in handy.
